Danbi

One passage a day,
everyone facing the same question

Every day, everyone receives the same Bible passage and one question. Read the passage, write one line about your day, and that day's reflection is done. What you write is seen only by you.

Today's question

Even when things went well today, when did you rely on God rather than your own ability?

Only you see the answer you write

How a day goes

When the notification arrives, open the app, read, write one line — and you're done.

  1. 1

    Read

That day's passage arrives exactly as written, chapter and verse. You can change the font and size to suit your eyes.

  2. 2

    Ask

Instead of a commentary, one question follows. Reviewed in advance by a person, it helps you find where the passage meets your own day.

  3. 3

    Write

Write a one-line answer and choose how your heart was that day. You can edit it any time before the day ends.

Finish the day,
and a tree rises in your garden

Each week appears as seven plots of soil. Missing a day doesn't break your streak right away. While you have chances left, you can cover a missed day with grace by doing its reflection later — the soil gets wet and your streak continues.

Tree a day you finished your reflection
Wet soil a day you missed and covered with grace later
Dry soil a day without a reflection

Walk together,
but what you write stays yours

You can send a cheer once a day to people you follow. All you see of each other is whether the reflection is done and how many days in a row you've kept it up.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. Everything available now (reading, questions, writing, companionship) is free, and there are no ads.

Which Bible translation does it use?

The Korean Revised Version (개역한글) for Korean and the KJV for English. Tap the translation name at the top of the reading screen to choose.

Who writes the questions?

They are prepared in advance for each passage and reviewed one by one by a person. Rather than giving an interpretation or a right answer, each question helps you look back on your own day.

If I miss a day, do I have to start over?

No. While you have chances left, you can cover a missed day with grace by doing its reflection later, and your streak continues. That plot's soil only gets wet — no tree grows.

What happens to my records if I delete my account?

They are deleted permanently. Only the minimum records the law requires us to keep are retained separately. You can delete your account from the MY screen in the app or on the web.
